About the role:
As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Full-Time Systems and Network Engineer to complement our existing team in Salisbury. To be successful in this role it is essential that you possess the ability to complete the following duties:
- Microsoft & Office 365 deployment, configuration and support
- Network, Cloud and Server configuration and troubleshooting
- Level 2 & 3 Help desk support for server, network, cloud and desktop related issues
- Capacity planning, installation, configuration of Windows Server and Network Solutions
- Project engineering during installations
- System documentation and maintenance
- Remote monitoring of systems at network and systems levels
Successful Applicant will have:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience supporting Microsoft server technologies, (Windows Server, 365, Active Directory)
- Experience with storage administration, SQL Server, IT security, operational procedures, and disaster recovery
- Azure, Office/Microsoft 365 and/or other cloud based technologies
- Experience working within an MSP, and familiarity with the ConnectWise suite is desirable
- Hyper V experience
- Experience with Acronis & Barracuda solutions
- Strong client service delivery focus and the ability to effectively communicate with the end user
- Demonstrated hardware and networking support, including firewall configuration and support.
Essential requirements:
- The applicant must hold a current and valid Australian or State Issued Driver’s License
- The applicant must be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
The position is based in Salisbury, Queensland and some interstate travel maybe required.
