Disaster Recovery as a Service – Terms & Conditions
- Storage of Data in the cloud will incur monthly charges, based on storage used per Virtual Machine. The data used will be pooled at the client level up to 1TB per Virtual Machine. ABTechnologies reserves the right to charge overages above the 1TB per Virtual Machine for extra cloud storage used. For example, 3 x Virtual Machines will allow a total of 3TB of data across the client tenant.
- Disaster recovery of servers in the cloud will incur charges immediately, charges will be based on server performance, and the number of users required on the servers. Costs for a typical three server configuration site start from around $70 per day, up to $300 per day depending on the clients’ requirements.
- Additional servers and performance requirements will increase this daily charge. Specific costs can be provided on request.
- Time to recover from Disaster: in the event of a disaster, please note that it may take a minimum of 7 days to replace faulty/destroyed hardware, install it on site and restore data. Additional options to recover to the cloud may be available.
- Recovery time of servers from previous on-premise versions or to the cloud is calculated from the point of time when the issues have been diagnosed, and the decision has been made to perform the recovery.
- While the recovery of servers in the cloud may only take 15 minutes, connecting all users on different networks will depend on the method and location of users logging in, and may take longer, depending on how many different networks need to be connected as well.
